Some builds stop traffic. This one stopped the internet.
A 2026 Land Rover Defender 110, wrapped bumper to bumper in full purple chrome vinyl using Orafol and rvinyl film. The reveal video went viral — and if you’ve seen it, you already know why. If you haven’t, watch it below.
Why Chrome Wraps Are a Different Animal
Chrome and mirror-finish vinyl films are the most unforgiving materials in the industry. Every fingerprint, every panel seam, every imperfection in the substrate shows up. There’s no hiding mistakes under a matte finish or a color shift — chrome reflects everything, including your technique.
Most installers won’t touch chrome. The ones that do and cut corners leave you with bubbles, lifting edges, and seams that look like they were done in a parking lot. Matt has been working with chrome and high-difficulty cast vinyl longer than most people in this area have been wrapping at all. It’s not a flex — it’s just the reality of what it takes to deliver a result like this Defender.

The Build: 2026 Land Rover Defender 110 in Purple Chrome
The Defender 110 is already a statement vehicle — boxy, commanding, impossible to ignore. In full purple chrome, it’s something else entirely. The film used for this build is Orafol and rvinyl chrome vinyl, applied full body across every painted panel. The Defender’s flat door faces and angular geometry are actually well-suited to a mirror finish, giving the chrome maximum surface area to do its thing.
The owner leaned all the way in — matching the energy of the build from the moment she walked in for the reveal. That photo says everything.

Thinking About Chrome or a Hard Vinyl Project?
Chrome, brushed metal, color-shift, gloss black — these are the wraps where installer experience is the only thing standing between a show-quality result and an expensive mistake. If you’re considering a high-difficulty vinyl project, Matt is the guy on Long Island you call first.
Full vehicle wraps start at $5,000. Chrome and specialty finishes are quoted individually based on the vehicle and film.
